http://www.greggcestaro.com/ One of the Things I like is Vintage Fashion Advertising simply because it was fresh, original and certainly cutting edge for its time. I saw this while on photo assignment at an antique store outside of Cedar Park, Texas. It is a beautiful well textured, illustrated image and an idea that required a skilled artist and model to set the mood. Very balanced it is presentation, color is warm, the round painting surrounding model head has an almost religious visage, the drapery effect exact yet subtle. Must have been cool in the heyday to get such an assignment from a client.
